Curious about silversmithing jewelry, making your own commitment rings, getting a welded "permanent" bracelet, shopping amazing locally-made jewelry or partnering in designing a one-of-a-kind engagement ring or custom jewelry piece? Look no further!

Located in the heart of Old Town Lafayette, Colorado, our team of professional, experienced, & patient instructors are here to share their knowledge in the art of jewelry-making. From two-hour to weekend workshops, we have something for everyone. Plus, we only have 6 students in a class, always.

We also sell our instructors' and students' work in our school shop (with some local gift items to boot), as well as offer permanent jewelry services, custom bridal and heirloom jewelry design, and repairs.

Small Class size =

Best Learning Environment

Let's face it: you learn best when there are only a handful of other students vs. a larger class size of 8-10 students. We never have more than 6 students (minimum of 3 students) in our metalsmithing classes, and you will have your own dedicated jeweler's bench with all the tools needed for the class. All you need to do is show up!

There are plenty of good metalsmith instructors in Colorado, but what makes us unique is that we have a dedicated team who are experienced, patient, (and fun!) that teach on a monthly basis. This enables you to develop a rapport with your instructors. They will get to know your learning style, which will help them teach you in the best way possible.

Classes to fit any schedule & budget

Don't have time or the budget to take a full-day or weekend workshop? Try one of our 2-3 hour mini-workshops such as Stacking Rings, Torch Fired Enameling, or wire-work classes! Many of our mini workshops do not have any prerequisites, which are perfect if you want to experience metalsmithing without a big time or financial investment.

Cheyenne was a great instructor. He was hands on for 100% of the process during the 2-day Beginning Casting class. He helped me understand how to do wax carving and casting. I was also able to observe three different types of metal being cast (bronze, silver, and gold), which was great!
