When modern design is blended with western fashion, the result is not your usual turquoise bolo tie.  Instead, a ribbon turquoise stone from the Royston Mine in Nevada is set against a modern rustic sterling silver setting.

My Process:

To create my signature, one-of-a-kind texture, I use a 20-step process to fuse the hand-cut silver pieces to the sterling silver base with only heat instead of solder. This creates a unique look but also provides superior durability and texture to the piece.  Then I made the custom bezel to ensure a perfect fit for the stone.  After a light patina and hand polish, the stone is set, the leather cord is cut and the tips are custom-fit, textured, patinated and polished to match the silver setting.
